ATTENDANCE
All the students must attend classes regularly and punctually. Attendance register will be maintained by the Lectures and they shall take attendance for each hour. Late-comers should report in the office. They should not enter the class without the permission of the concerned Lecturer. Each semester shall be taken as a unit for the purpose of calculating attendance.
The student will be allowed to appear for the University Examination if she has attended not less than 75% of the number of working hours in each subject in each semester.
DRESS CODE
On Monday’s Sky Blue Khadi Chudidar topwith white bottom and white dupatta should be worn as required by the Karnataka State Law University. On all other daysStudents should wear White Top, Black Bottom and Black Dupatta. Formals are allowed (Black Pant and White Shirt) to be worn on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Students who are not conforming to this may be required to leave the College for the day.
White Chudidars should be worn during court visits for practical’s. Students will wear Navy Blue coloured Blazers with the college emblem on special occasions. They should also adopt decent hair style.
WORKING DAYS/HOURS OF THE COLLEGE
All days except Sundays, National/State holidays provided in the Hand Book of the College are working days. There will be two sessions per day. College commenceswith prayer at 8.00 am, Classes commences at 8.15 am andcollege closes at 3.30 pm for the day.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
In case of sickness or any emergency, a leave letter must be produced on the day the student returns to class. All leave letters must be signed by the Parent/Warden. Leave for more than 3 days, leave letter along with medical certificate need be produced.
EVALUATION
One Mid-Semester examinations and one Model examination will be held in each semester. Class work assignments form a regular part of assessment. Participation and Performance in Intra Moot Court Competition, Seminars, Debates, Model Parliament, Mock Trial, Legal Aid Camps, Legal Literacy Programs and Clinic, Sports activities etc., are also graded for students.
INTERNSHIPS - REQUIREMENT OF KARNATAKA STATE LAW UNIVERSITY
Every student shall undertake Internship Programme for 20 weeks (5 year B.B.A LL.B Course) and for 12 weeks (3 year LL.B Course). The Internship Programme for each year shall not exceed 4 weeks and should not be undergone during the college working days.
